Interdisciplinarity / Internationality
The MUSIC Graduate School assures interdisciplinarity and internationality within its structures and processes. Scientists and teachers from different fields such as mechanics and computational mechanics, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science and applied mathematics work together in an interdisciplinary approach to broaden their findings and expertise. Through the joint interdisciplinary research work, undertaken in the different research areas of the school, the knowledge base is expanded and can thus provide the best prerequisites for a successful educational and research environment for young scientists and engineers.
Due to the participation of leading scientists from Europe and the Unites States, the school can focus on current scenarios of innovation and development in the core areas of research. Aspects, needs and strategies relevant to MUSIC will be considered by inviting researchers from all over the world to foster innovation in the research area of multiscale methods for interface problems.
